about us:

Random Acts of Kindness Society (R.A.K.S.) is a women’s non-profit organization founded by a group of Special Educators and their fabulous friends. We believe that communities can grow when connections are created and strengthened through kindness.  Our primary focus is our girls social club, “the Unicorn Society,” which is comprised of girls with special needs and typical mentors, we provide the girls opportunities to actively participate within their community, both socially and in giving back.  In addition to our girls’ club, we want to lead by example, practicing kind actions and "paying it forward” to others.  Whether it be something as simple as holding a door open for a stranger, providing “Blessing Bags/Birthday Boxes” to people in need, or feeding our Nations heroes, our beloved Veterans.  We know that every interaction with someone leads to an opportunity to have a positive impact on both lives.
